I suppose i mean why don't most fighters go abroad, It's not because they are scared it's because they see every week such robberies to away fighters

It makes you think that the card had been filled in before the fight even started. Alas, fair scoring goes out of the window

 

he is going to get destroyed if he fights for the tittle

 

Dave Parris ( UK Judge) scored the fight for Maciel.

 

This is why Hopkins will never fight in Aust... I mean Europe :!::hey

 

Maciel landed the harder shots, but most missed where as Rose produced the cleaner shots.

Either way great fight, very hard to score, could have gone either way

 

It was a close fight which Maciel probably edged by a round or two. Some of you are going way OTT.

 

117-111 really , where was that judge from

I thought it was a close fight that the Argie won by a round or two at most

Lots of close rounds but some which weren't. Anything worse than 115-113 Rose was dodgy. So it's dodgy. Second time in the last few weeks after Burns. I said this last time. Brits prefer a valiant loser to an undeserving winner which was what Rose was. He didn't have enough power and his movement wasn't good enough to avoid being hit. The Argentinian was crude but more effective.

 

To me, the best Rose could have gotten was a draw.

Maciel could have won that fight by the 117-111 card they gave Rose.

 

Both commentators were all over the british fighter. complimenting and praising everything he did.

 

Am I the only one who thought that was a close fight that rose could've nicked? Admittedly the scorecards were stupid, but everyone screaming robbery seems a bit unjustified
