beat a fat bum butlin, but looked composed nice jab and right hand again, and looked relaxed i can see him delaying alot of early finishes, to get more experience in the ring unlike david price.

The look on Butlers face, he badly wanted the ref to stop that, surprised it carried on

Not going to critique the kind of opposition Joshua is facing.. He just turned pro for crying out loud, but the brit hype is already getting ridiculous. When will Brits learn their lesson and not overhype their fighters?

You're right, he looked much more relaxed. The Olympic gold is a bit misleading, Joshua is still very green and needs to be matched carefully.

I was impressed by his hand speed and the jab was sharp and crisp. His guard also looked tighter than in his debut.

He was throwing the right hand too wide at times. He has to execute that punch with more patience.

He needs to fight someone who will try to attack him next. I want to see his defence tested.

Impressed, it was Anthony's second performance in the professional ranks.

    The lad did ok.

Was a beautiful 1-2 that put Butlin down, sliced his eyebrow wide open.

Your a **** why have you brought up the racist card you politically correct mug. I hate people like you who always bring colour into things. Back to the thread though Joshua is looking very good. Composed and very good shot selection

He looked like an Olympic Gold medallist in the early stages of his pro career,i.e.terrific.I don't think Nelson,McRory,or even Tony Bellew who is not a full time pundit would rave about him with no justification.I remember Chisora in his early career.I would never have thought he would become a world contender, but he is.Imagine if Joshua improves as much?Think a bigger, looser, more skilled Frank Bruno in about 20 fights.I think he's that good.Hearn is doing the right thing with him also, keeping him busy.

Just read your post, although not directed at me, its a bit sad to say the least pulling the racist card.

Forums are all about opinions but as soon as the racist card is pulled then the person pulling needs to be banned.

The lad looked pretty good. OK, the opponent was outclassed from the first jab, but Joshua was nice, composed and took his time. Peachy shot for the knockdown, too.

I'm looking forward to watching his progress. Very early days, but it's promising stuff so far.
