Wilder was so wide open for right hands.

He's gonna get shattered when he steps up, just wait.

Wow, Wilder got rocked. Don't think he ever will step up, Arreola would destroy him within the first minute.

Well..first of all, Price laid out Harrison, Wilder almost laid himself out throwing his sloppy finishing combo, Price fought Thompson in his 15th fight, Wilder is past 30 now...

getting stopped in 9 by Jennings says something, because Jennings isn't a puncher, plus it was an early fight for Jennings, Jennings who has less amateur fights than Wilder(for all of those who use the excuse "Deontay never had a long amateur career") plus, Liakovich was still at least considered an active fighter, whereas they literally took him out of retirement for Wilder

"Firtha fought Povetkin"...so? :lol:Are you trying to say Wilder is better than Povetkin because he KOd a career journeyman?

I bet the Wilder team are rubbing their hands when they see somebody fall for the hype as easily as you...

The guy is 28 years old, almost 6 years and 30 fights into his pro career, lets see him in a ****ing fight please

he beat Firtha though....easily, and nothing was made of it, because Firtha is a career loser, I think if you were asking Povetkin about his best career wins..Nicolai ****ing Firtha wouldn't even enter the conversation, stopping Firtha in 4 rounds is good...for a prospect, not for a guy who is almost 30, and has had 30 fights in 5 years

was Nicolai Firtha brought in to do anything other than lose? come on mate...

Yeah, Wilder is a joke, man - a glass jawed joke. Pretty much everybody but the hype-meisters and the casuals knows it now.

I thought Wilder looked good is some areas and bad in others. The guy has huge power, a solid jab, and showed composure but he's too hittable, has poor balance, and his chin doesn't seem good. I don't think Firtha hurt him it was a balance issue.

Wilder clearly needs a step up from guys like Firtha(who came to win last night) and a shot Lyackovich.

He doesn't need to be looking at guys like Wlad, Haye, or even Stiverne and Arreola, but he should be looking at guys like Banks, Adamek, and Price.

Him knocking out over-matched guys can be entertaining but its getting old and he needs someone who can test him.

Fury was on absolute ***** street, bambi-legged, getting pounded on the ropes in the third round. Please review the tape, try and stick with the facts at least a little bit. Even just a little bit. Would you try?

Wilder was knocked off balance by a single punch in the first 8 seconds of the fight when he was surprised by Firtha's bizarre ambush. He was was not troubled one iota after that.

Povetkin also broke his hand in that fight.

The one shining trait that I like about Wilder is that he actually comes to fight and tries to get the KO, like a true heavyweight. If he can keep that attitude intact, and continue to improve each fight, he at least has a shot at a belt if he just stays aggressive early on. I'm not saying he's gonna beat the top guys, but I'd rather see someone like him in the ring with a top guy than the typical mentally defeated "survival first" candidates out there today.

Well, the blueprint was laid, that's for sure.

Firtha just doesnt have the skills to do it.

But, a swarmer like DelBoy would literally eat Wilder up.

That said.....with careful mgmt, and a continuing feast on guys lacking in the important tangibles, Wilder WILL become a titlist.

Hell, David Haye won a title just by carefully picking which titlist he would pursue. :think

Na come on are you serious? Does your hate have no boundaries he was even phased by the jab if anything it was a combination of he movement and the jab landing that caused all the dancing...I'm no wilder nut rider but you guys are completely delusional.
