Vitali's prime was 1998-2000, three years before the Lewis fight when he was injury free. Bear in mind Ali was considered old at 32 when he beat Foreman, Vitali was the same age and was carrying two bad injuries. That he came back after four years aged 37 and stopped the WBC champion at the time is testament to his greatness. :deal

Meanwhile in scotland they cant seem to produce a fighting man capable of sparing the like's of sprott and audley harrison, let alone winning a heavyweight title:lol:.. Your feeble country is a disgrace ,dont tell me, all your best fighters are playing the bagpipes and selling smack for a living ?

Great fighter, but not invincible. An old Lewis ripped his face up.

that bold and large font helps imagine the robot accent. but more importantly, it helplessly enrages klitlikers.

Vitali coming off of a four year retirement to beat a reiging WBC champion was very impressive. I take nothing away from him for that whatsoever. It proved he was a great heavyweight. It is truely the one thing in Vitali's career that his fans should point to to prove his greatness, however, his fans instead remain hung up on denying the legitimacy of his loss to Lewis and excusing his failure to get the job done that night. It could be argued, in fact, that by their obsession with the Lewis fight Vitali's fans have reduced his legacy to being assessed by that one fight instead of the rest of his career and the, undoubtedly impressive, achievement of coming off of a four year lay-off to beat a reigning world champion in dominant fashion.

What has that got to do with anything? For a small semi barbarous nation we've produced some legends in sport as well as some great minds, so stfu.

When you mention Vitali's achievements as a fighter you immediately get tko6 Lewtard numpties popping up like garden weeds, don't be surprised if VK fans like me pull these weeds up the roots and expose the little trolls who plant them. Lewis, promised the rematch but bitched out and retired rather than settle the issue.

lewis retired at about the same age or older than the entire history of the HW pantheon of champions with hardly any exceptions.

seems your theory is debunked. Lewis isn't going to stick around just so you can see your man get tkoed faster 2nd time round when Vits couldn't even manage HALF a fight in the first contest.
