Should Golovkin v.s. Hopkins at 168 be interesting to watch?

An attention seeker like Hopkins should consider this fight.

I think that it's a lot more possible than Hopkins v.s. Floyd Jr. at 160.

If 3G moves up to 168 I think Hops has a better chance. If Hop moves down to 160 I feel 3G will be too strong for the old man. This would be a very interesting fight and I agree , more interesting than a Mayweather-Hop fight.

Kovalev was Hopkins' mandatory and he earned it, but Hopkins refused to fight him. Kovalev had to go into Cleverly's home town and knock him out to get a title. Hopkins has admitted that he will never fight Kovalev or Stevenson. Well...........I surely understand that, Hopkins would get knocked out!

Hopkins said he could easily make 160 to fight Mayweather, so that means he could get down to 160 for Golovkin. At that weight Golovkin would probably knock him out. Remember, Hopkins is running from Kovalev and Stevenson. Hopkins lost to Dawson and Stevenson knocked Dawson out, so that scared Hopkins. Murat did not deserve a title shot...........

 

If the Alien starts calling him out, then yeah. I'd buy it.

Both guys fighting at a weight they've never fought at before. Hmm.

Never really thought about this one before. I guess I'd pick Hopkins but I wouldn't make him a big favorite at all.

Shane......er........ Cletis...... I don't think I've seen anyone, Hopkins fans or otherwise, say he is unbeatable. I think they think he is too crafty for certain types of fighters, and about that they are right. But he is eminently beatable at his advanced age, and needs to choose carefully.

 

I have, not "unbeatbale", but that he would beat anyone at 175 because he's so tricky and he would find a way to win. Well, he didn't against Dawson and he won't get any younger and fresher.
