Love him or hate him as what his fans say people would still buy his fights to see him lose and earn more millions, Is it for business only or for real?
Who wants to be hated and earn million bucks?
But my question is it forever, what if he's retired would he still be the same?

He'll be hated just the same...

Remembered for ducking pacquiao primarily. Also for retiring to avoid fighting the top welterweights in the game( pac, mosley, cotto, margs, and pwill) when the WW division was ON FIRE.

He only came out once they had all massacred each other.

He's actually starting to become a little more likable and pleasant as he gets older. He's not there yet, but he is definitely not so bad compared to someone like Broner.

I think it will actually get worse in retirement..nobody will be impressed by wins over midget marquez, robert gurerrero, or zombie alvarez.

The only memories will be who he refused to fight.."protecting my health"

In. 2005 he was destined to be the fighter of the decade and earn his place with SRR
    Ali
    And Duran

    And he blew it

Pacturds will never like him, and neither will the people who spent so much of their hard earned savings to pay to see him lose.

Everyone else will begin to see him for the legend that he is.

Pacquiao is much more exciting but even in their primes it was a 70/30 fight for floyd

If roidquez can time manny than so can floyd

Pacquiao had a punchers chance and that's all

Now it would be embarrassing to watch

Having said all that manny ranks higher on the atg list because he's nt a duck

    And floyd is

Mayweather's dull victories vs slow, flatfooted, or undersized guys, fighting in weight classes where they weren't rated, sucker punches, and avoiding great fighters, or fighters in their prime. Name a memorable Mayweather fight? name a PRIME ATG opponent he has beaten? he is boring the fights are tedious and well he leaves most cold.

As the best fighter of this era he will always draw hate from people who he wanted to draw hate from the weak and the stupid (like a couple of posters above). For guys like this he will never get his respect. fortunately for floyd his legacy will outlast these losers and will be remember fondly by the masses as a an ATG and one of the best ever

Ducking Pac  and retiring to avoid fighting the top welterweights in the game :patsch. I hope you aint talking about 07 Cotto or Magarito . Had Cotto lived closer he would have got some ass whooping. And Margarito know they weren't fighting to see who the best was:lol:, Floyd only fight the best. Pac would have been whoop had he promise not to hurt Floyd if they'd fight.

My issue with Floyd has always been the fights he's picked ..With his talent he should truly have a much better resume than the one he currently has ..
