Just seen his fight from Saturday now, great performance, Parodi was tough and took some huge shots really well, but The Jackal switched it up and took him out another way.

Frampton is a beast, he'd completely destroy Scott Quigg.

I totally agree with you regarding Frampton. I think Parodi while he was game and battled on I still believe that he was limited. That is not taking anything away from Frampton and would rather him win the IBF and unify the championships with maybe the winner to get a shot at Rigadoux

Parodi won a fairly close decision to the guy Quigg beat in 3 (Prado). :think

    Is there a major difference?

Frampton would have taken out Salinas.

Carl has infinitely more ability than Froch.
Froch is tough - teak tough - but he is no great boxer. Not by any means.

Stats like that mean nothing. By that argument Quigg took longer than Frampton to beat both Voronin & Reid.

Both boxers are the real deal IMO but I'm not expecting to see them face each other anytime soon

I think the point is that deciding he is the real deal after a fight vs a fantastically ordinary boxer is a bit strange.

In fairness there is enough evidence at this stage to have a high opinion of Carl.
Neither of his last two opponents had been stopped before.
One went on to stop a world champion in his very next fight.
Parodi is very durable, whatever his shortcomings, and Carl took him apart.

    Both were one-punch stoppages.
One with the left, the other with the right.
One to head, one to body.

Exactly what is it about this that is NOT impressive?
Do boxers do this sort of thing day in day out?

    I know I am impressed....
