How can people say Golovkin is a hype job, but Broner isn't?

And don't give me that 3 World titles ****.

Who did Broner beat for his first world title? Some jaborni called Vincete Rodriguez. A guy with a record at the time of 26-3-1, who had been fighting in 8 rounders prior to the Broner fight and had a Boxrec 'score' of 78. 78!! If Golovkin fought someone in his division with a score of 78 he would face Jose Pinzon- a guy who lost earlier this year, by KO, to shot to **** 10 times defeated Saul Roman. How any of you think the Broner- Rodriguez fight was deserving of having a world title up for grabs is beyond me.

And don't give me the better resume **** either.

Broner got highly controversial points wins over Fernando Quintero on FNF in 2009 (a fight which Teddy Atlas scored for Quintero), Daniel Ponce De Leon (see IB's round by round thread if you haven't already seen and don't want to watch the fight- basically everybody commenting on that thread mentions how much of a joke Broner getting the nod was) and Malgnaggi which most of you saw and many scored it for Paulie.

And even if you did score it for Broner, you can't argue it was an impressive win. Broner was a massive favourite, expected to dominate ad stop Paulie, like 'glassed jawed hype job' Amir Khan had done to a younger, faster Paulie at the exact same age as Broner. This is also a Paulie who is coming off a gift over Pablo Cesar Cano- something that neither the acient Erik Morales nor the ancient Shane Mosley needed to beat him, either side of the Paulie fight.

Look at some of Golovkin's recent wins- Matthew Macklin- a man who a year prior gave undisputed champion Sergio Martinez a great deal of trouble and should've been given the nod against Felix Strum- was DESTROYED by Golovkin. Or Gabriel Rosado- until the dodgy stoppage was giving Peter Quillin all sorts of problems- and in the Rosado match- Golovkin had flu. And he stopped Ishida, something that James Kirkland, Pirog and Paul Williams could not do.

What about Broner's recent win? Soto Karass level fighter DeMarco, who was about as good a world champ as Rico Ramos? Coked up Eloy Perez? Gavin Rees who went on to lose to journeyman Crolla? Escobedo- who came down in weight to fight Broner, when Broner didn't even bother to make weight himself.

And don't give me the **** about Broner being small for a Welterweight either- he was clearly bigger than Paulie, and he walks around bigger than Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez and Bradley.

But that's not the question? How can you POSSIBLY say GGG is all hype but Broner is legit?

The 3 titles is actually a pretty valid argument. To go from 130 to 147 that quickly, skipping 140 altogether is impressive, regardless of which 147 champion he took the belt from.

That being said, I don't think either is a hype job. I do think GGG is more highly overrated though.

Both are being hyped, but not hypejobs. Broner is more accomplished than GGG at this point though

OK, so for example, if Kell Brook fight with Phillip Kotey in 2010 was for a vacant world title- would you say Brook was a deserving world champion- being that he beat an utter bum like Broner did for his 1st title?

How so? Broner has had 3 extremely dodgy desicions in his favour.

    Golovkin has had none.

As explained in the OP, the Macklin and Rosado wins >>>>> controversial win over Paulie.

Broner's win over Paulie is like GGG jumping up in weight to beat Hopkins in a SD

Well not really, being that Hopkins is legit and he's not coming off a robbery to someone who the fight before was beaten by a has been.

Maybe it would be like beating someone like Shemenov or Denis Grachev- however do you think those guys would have a prayer against Golovkin- even at 175- he wouldn't need an SD for sure.

Hey, Broner was talking about moving up to 154 the other night before the Hopkins fight

Golovkin has said he'd move down

Let's get it on then we will see who's more legit :deal

GGG will probably accept the terms of the contract to have the judges fill out the scorecard before the fight. Broner ain't seeing the final bell even against a drained to **** GGG :vonnecunt:vonnecunt:vonnecunt

Which guy are you talking about?

A guy who is less legit than Vincente Martin Rodriguez?

At at what point in my post did I say I recognised Golovkin at a world champion- there is one world champion in each weight class, screw who the alphabet bodies give the title too- at middleweight it's not Golovkin- it's Martinez, just like at Welterweight, it's not Broner- it's Mayweather

And who has GGG lost too? NOBODY. Broner has lost to Paulie, Ponce De Leon and Quintero.

At least GGG bothers to make weight for fights and doesn't put post on Twitter of him eating cakes or some **** while his opponents starve themselves to make weight.

I'm sure he would he is willing to go to 168 for big fights. Unlike Broner who wants none of Mayweather :hi:
