WTF were you watching?

Jones was losing that fight until the stoppage due to his Homer Simpson defense of letting Lebedev tee off on him repeatedly.

A cheating twat who originally won thanks to illegal advantages got busted, and still got off easy. I'm still not sure why some fans are supporting Jones in this.

 

Again, does anyone know if the result will be changed? I heard the B sample was never tested. So I would assume the original failure stands & the result would become an NC

Thank you. Lebedev won 6 or 7 rounds outboxing Jones for the most part and did it with only one eye from the 3rd round on. Without a lucky punch (yes it was lucky how often do you see boxers develop a hematoma?) Lebedev should be able to beat him especially now that he knows he can't knock Jones out and won't be desperately going for it like their first fight because of the eye.

The irrational Lebedev hate from some is amusing especially when it's because he fought Roy who beat up tons of old guys and mail men himself. James Toney was favored going into the fight with Denis and the only reason he fought those guys is because Huck wouldn't rematch him and he couldn't get another top CW.

 

Lebedev was winning by a comfortable margin, on points. However, he lost the fight utterly in terms of gameplan (Jones was clearly not going down, he should have moved a lot more and cruised comfortably to a points win) and in terms of that awful injury.

Lebedev was at least 3 points ahead at the time of the stoppage, and Jones can attribute this win to Luck (who knew they would have a complete imbecile to work Lebedev's corner as a cutman), his amazing chin and his superb boxing skills.

 

Yes, Lebedev was out boxing Jones in that fight, a lucky punch caused his eye to swell quickly. There is talk of a rematch, if so, Lebedev will win...........Bad cut men can lose a fight, just ask Matthysse, he was butted on the eye, and the cut man did not do anything, Hell, he could have used a piece of ice! Low blows all night. When Tyson fought Douglas his corner was using a rubber, yes a condom on his badly swollen eye. Tyson had no corner in that fight.........
