atschI'm surprised no one mentioned the blatant bias of the judges in the Quillan-Rosado fight. True it was tragic the fight got stopped by the terrible cut just as Rosado was taking over the fight. What appalled me was the scorecards of the judges at the time of stoppage. They were BLATANT bias for Quillan. Rosado was gonna get screwed over even without the cut. The judges cards said he needed a knockout to win. When is this lunacy, corruption or incompetence, which ever you want to call it , going to endatsch
At any rate Rosado needs to significantly improve his game. And yeah the cut was very deep, looked like his eyelid was gonna be torn off lol... Judges will be judges though.... corrupt, biased and incompetent to the end
If the fight had not been stopped Rosado would have won the fight, it appears as if he was on his way to a knockout. The judges were extremely crooked...........
How about the high dramatisation of the doctor running into the ring and applying pressure on the cut.. Jesus it waz dry and not bleeding.. The doctor waz nobbled..rosado got screwed Having said that he should tell GGG that his comments about the grant gloves waz a misunderstanding and apologise..!
I don't get why Americans defend this guy like crazy and talk of him so highly, I've never seen him win and his skills are very average. I don't get how he was screwed, he was behind in the fight and that cut was very bad.
Because the cut ended the fight doesnt feel too bad but if it went to the score cards woulda been gutting for Rosado especially if he won the last 3 i woulda had him winning Him and Kirkland should fight at 154
Gotta wonder how much the gloves comments played into his getting screwed. Forget about GGG and Sanchez... Rosado was libeling the popular and well known Grant, and the NY commission. Would not surprise me in the least if the NJ judges and ringside officials travel in the same social circles as the NY commission employees and ringside officials. Who probably also enjoy hobnobbing with famous glovemakers at ringside and after parties. Rosado better start fighting in Cali. Then gotta wonder how HBO feels about him first going to SHO to fight, then libeling one of their house stars. Hmm. Rosado better hope Bob and Al like him a whole lot or he may well have sunk his career with those remarks.
I thought the cards were diabolical but its sad to say I expect it now. This year has been so good for the sport, but thesr issues are ruining it. Rosado was 1-2 rounds behind at bthe time of the stoppage and I ssupect he would have won it if it went 12 AND there was some decent judging. Great, great fight. Would love a sequel but thee is no way GBP will allow it. Quillin is a tad over-rated I feel. I reckon Murray could dethrone him at ease.
Funny how they let Rosado continue against Golovkin when he was getting beaten up real bad and his face was bloody mess.. Now it was a close fight and they stop it immediatly.
This was a joke of a stoppage, Rosado deserves a rematch at the very least, Quillen back-flipping after the fight was stopped was a joke too.
How can Quillan & GBP retain any credibility if they do not rematch Rosado ??? But lets have 3 judges than understand boxing & be relied upon to render a fair decision
You guys are crazy one more punch and that cut would have started spilling blood like crazy. Rosado landed some right hands but that aint how you win a fight and I had quillin way up on the cards. If the fight had gone on rosado would have been TKOd
