Comparison between Duran & Holyfield

I think we'll agree to disagree. I honestly don't think you can overrate a guy like Duran.

For me he epitomised everything that should happen today. This guy literally would fight anyone, anywhere, anytime. How many guys can you name that would start out as a 120 pound fighter, grow into Lightweight, dominate that division for 7 years go up to Welter taking on the best available in that division, beat 2 Light Middles of the calibre of Cuavas, and Davey Moore, then immediately go looking for Hagler who at that time was in his absolute prime.

None of which were catchweights or **** like that.

Good post. At their prime weights,it's obviously Duran purely because he remained at at his for longer than Holyfield did. Okay,he was convincingly beaten by Esteban de Jesus in their first fight,but put that right,strongly,in the two rematches. Roberto stayed on top for six years before he moved up to the higher weights. I do firmly believe,however,that Holyfield could've emulated that feat had he stayed at Cruiserweight for the same amount of time. Nobody could touch him at 190 lbs.

Well good for you. I personally try to go through life NOT telling people what to do, say or think. Maybe you should try it.

So I don't like Yanks, or anything they stand for, and I say it, and have said it to their faces.

And yes I have been to America, and don't recommend it. I found the best part of it to be the Hoover Dam, a fantastic piece of engineering.
