Dude Wlad was not drugged so stop the lies. Sanders didn't refuse **** it was WLad that did not want to fight Sanders. You lie to try to make people think your white heros are above the rest. Lewis would have killed WLad in one round had they fought. Get a live man

It was obvious that wlad was drugged that is the general consensus. I knew after a couple of rounds wlad had his mouth wide open looked lethargic . And those eyes damn he was drugged 100%. I have to disagree about Sanders. Sanders just got off a lucky shot and surprised wlad.if they fought 1000 times wlad wouldve won 999 and the loss woukdave been the first fight

Err Who kicked Lennox Lewis ass???? I musta missed that one.
Lennox only losses were totally his own fault he knows that. He came to the ring against McCall & Rahman woefully underprepared and got caught cold. Different story in the rematches wasn't it. Shows Vitali was nothing special an overweight undertrained Lennox kicked his ass TKO 6:rofl

I sincerely hope my old buddy Ike Ibeabuchi doesn't see a clown like you using his name & posting such garbage.
BTW Ike would have loved to have got the Klit bros in the ring. They'd be long forgotten now

To be perfectly fair to Wlad here, I thought he looked fantastic until he showed signs of fatigue.
He was throwing some monster shots downstairs, mixing up his punches well, and was moving very nicely. There was not a single clinch in the first 6 rounds...impressive for heavyweights.
And also to be fair, Purrity was no bum. He could be outboxed but he was one tough SOB. He took all those shots and weathered the storm, and clouted Wlad with a heavy right in the 10th which had Wlad in desperate trouble.

The stoppage was fair. Wlad had nothing left and would have hit the deck again in the 11th soon enough. Purrity was coming on strong.
But had Wlad learned how to pace himself, he could have won that fight easily.

Funny, I had more respect for Wlad in that defeat than I have for his many victories. He fought well and went out on his shield.

On the basis of what? :huh

Why not just give Sanders the respect he deserves and say that he kicked Wlad's butt?
I see all these excuses for Wlad but what about Sanders? He was 38, had not been an active fighter for years, was fighting in Wlad's back yard in front of partisan fans...wow, how many disadvantages did he have here?

    And he won. Convincingly.

BUT NOW WE WILL NEVER KNOW, because Wlad was petrified to face 38 year old unfit retiring golfer again and ran to the same hills his brother did when he became the first HW champions to get beaten up by a natural MW.

but ever since theyve dropped their standards below 38 year old unfit fat golfers and natural MWs they have done well, credit due.

I don't remember any of those guys losing to a Ross Purrity level fighter.:hi:...especially when they were YOUNG like Vlad was.

Vlad owns the dubious distinction of getting KTFO by a member of the PGA:rofl

the Klits are the not only the only brothers to win the hw titles, they are the only hw champions to be destroyed by fatboy weaklings, 37 year old retirees or natural middleweights.

for real, the klits rewrote the book on how to defend and lose HW titles.

Where's the proof that Wlad was drugged? And Sanders must've got a lot of lucky shots off on guys. Wlad wouldn't beat Sanders 99 times out of a 100. Why do you think that there wasn't rematch? Wlad's people knew.
