    Interesting question

At the moment Ward has not beaten a top prime SMW. His best win is an unwell double vision suffering fighter who was beaten by the old previous champ at the end of his career.
Ward has yet to beat a top undefeated fighter.

The problem Ward has is that there are no real top SMWs around at the moment and LHW is a bit empty also, though I think Kovalev does seem like the best match up to be made

Haha Ward will school Kovalev and GGG and anyone else from 160- 175 nobody is beating him, not even close.

yep it is interesting, he barely fights but he is the top smw anyway and the smw and lhw divisions look like they could be merged into one the way things are going, stevenson can go to smw, as can chad, despite being ko'd in both divisions. froch has made the move.
ward should move up soon, if no smw fights come available.

What top prime undefeated fighter has Ward beaten to show you that? What undefeated world champ has he beaten, what top undefeated fighter has he beaten?

Ward beat the **** out of Froch, Kessler, Abraham and Dawson (who was lineal LHW champ at the time) and your asking when he's "stepping up" ?

**** outta here, only person with a chance against Ward is GGG.

Lets not get too carried away.
Ward has done well but Kessler is his best win. Ward has not beaten a top prime SMW. His best win is an unwell double vision suffering fighter who was beaten by the old previous champ at the end of his career.
Ward has yet to beat a top undefeated fighter.

The problem Ward has is that there are no real top SMWs and LHWs around at the moment.

Ward fough a very close fight with Froch who was coming off a Mdec win over old journeyman SMW G Johnson who hadnt been a SMW for years.
Abraham was on a run of 1-2 at the time and tell me what top fighters has Abraham beaten?
What is Dawsons pedigree at SMW?

What's he meant to do? Time travel to the 90s and fight RJJ? Like you said, there's no real top SMWs around at the moment, but that's not his fault... He's fighting the best opponents who're out there.

The Froch fight wasn't close at all, and I'm saying that as someone who rooted for Carl that night.

How is it a hater to have seen a close fight like 2 judges did?
Just look at Ward after the fight, he looked like he had been in a battle.
I notice you couldnt answer against the post I wrote so have tried to do a shuffle as you call it

He's fought the best he can find, and is now coming off shoulder surgery and fighting an up and comer who, although not great, is undefeated. He hasn't ducked anyone.
