Golata was too slow to hit Ali enough to do any damage. In process he would be decimated.

 

yeah you're right, I was watching some golota fights last night and liked a lot of what he did, but it wasn't vs anyone with real speed.

No evidence Alis jaw was broken in round one or two but certainly evidence that shows a round 12 jaw breaking. Alis camp also had a reason to push that his jaw was broken early...he just lost to someone he was supposed to beat easily. It was an easy excuse. Remember all the excuses Ali had after losing to Frazier two years earlier?

All this is why no one believed Alis version back in 73. That's the fact. you can believe what you want just don't call it historically accurate.

Houdini - there's a reason I didn't pass comments on Foxy 01's posts - I read a couple of his posts on the Hagler - Calzaghe thread & decided that I didn't enjoy reading what he said, or the manner in which he said it. So, I haven't read anymore of his posts, nor do I intend to read any more of his work in the future.

I didn't expect you to go down to his intellectual level, so was surprised and disappointed in what you wrote, that's all.
