Which boxer can "claim" the dubious record, of having been defeated by more world champions* (recognized by BoxRec) than any other boxer?

    * A boxer, who - at some time during his career - held a world title, recognized by BoxRec.

    In world title fights?

Probably Reggie Strickland if they don't need to be world title fights.

We're looking for the boxer, who lost to the most world champions - and not necessarily in world title fights. So it can be reigning, former or future champions - in title fights or non-title fights.

With that in mind DrMo has come up with the best answer so far, as Everett "Bigfoot" Martin lost to 14 different champions.

    You got it, mate :good

I thought this was a rather difficult question, as many of the world champs he lost to aren't exactly what you would call household names. But you're right, there are 17 of them:

    Randall Bailey
    David Diaz
    Robert Guerrero
    Enrique Sanchez
    Levander Johnson
    Jorge Paez
    Cesar Soto
    Wayne McCullough
    Julien Lorcy
    Jimmi Bredahl
    Naseem Hamed
    Lehlo Ledwaba
    Manuel Medina
    Wilfredo Vasquez
    Nana Yaw Konado
    Robert Quiroga
    Hilario Zapata

I just randomly checked out Bert Cooper and I counted he lost to around 9 world champions.
