No, in my opinion, the winner of tonight's fight between Golovkin and Stevens should be the 2013 Fighter of the Year. The winner would have 4 impressive wins on the year, which is twice as many as Floyd.

By the way, if Golovkin wins by way of knockout, he will have 4 knockouts this year, while Floyd has none.

To be fighter of the year would mean Floyd would have to fight. Floyd cannot FIGHT!!!he hasn't got the cojones. Poser of the year or most protected boxer of the year maybe he might stand a chance. Cowardly punk of the year he'd be a shoo in

NO. It's a worthless title. Give it to someone who cares.

Didn't you win employee of the month at McDonald's AGAIN? Are you up for employee of the decade there? I bet you're proud. That's a title most of us will never win.

Floyd, GGG, or Garcia. I'd like GGG to win, if he gets a KO tonight, but I think it'll go to Floyd.

    Honorable Mention: The Desert Storm!

Canelo was a good win, but Guerrero? Not that my opinion means anything to the powers that be but I don't think he deserves it.

GGG -- if he wins tonight -- would have had a damn good year: Rosado / Ishida / Macklin / Stevens - not bad at all.

Could also make a case for Bradley given a possible fight of the year and the schooling he put on the faded but still very good JMM.

Absolutely deserves it. His win over Canelo is better than anything GGG fought this calendar year.

And while The Ghost might not be seen in a favorable light by some in this forum, he was on a 7-8 year winning streak going into the Mayweather fight, including a very impressive performance over a game Berto.
