Round 1

Marquez is tossing the right jab after trotting in close and then jumping outside before Segura can uncork a big right hook on him. Segura follows, using the left hand lead as a jab and looking to plant that right hook on Marquez come hell or high water. Marquez is backed up across the ring, countering with very fast right hooks of his own. Clinch. Segura dives in with a left to the body and gets pushed down upon. Marquez jumps outside and sticks a right jab to the body. Marquez works off the ropes, ducking and twisting to slip shots. Right hook and left uppercut by Marquez, scoring to head and body from mid-range. Segura walks into a big left hand, diving for a body shot. Wild right upper-hook by Marquez, missing. Segura flurries before Marquez can aright himself. WILD HAYMAKERS both ways. Both are primarily missing, but going for broke. Double right hook off the ropes by Marquez, getting back under control. Long right hook by Segura, falling short. Quick right hook downstairs by Marquez. Right hook by Segura.

Round 2

Marquez is swatting at Segura with counter right hooks as Segura dives in with lefts. Marquez turns Segura and plants a huge right hook on his cheek from outside. Segura is making it easy for Marquez, coming at him in straight lines with his chin unprotected. Marquez is belting Segura with right hooks and looping lefts while using the full ring to draw him along, executing matador turns but still getting nearly trapped on the ropes with Segura hurtling in and sledging the body. HUGE counter hook by Marquez, spinning Segura nearly through the ropes. Right jab on the trunks by Marquez, almost low. HUGE LEFT CROSS BY MARQUEZ after jabbing Segura in the breastplate to knock him a step off. They grind together and trade uppercuts to the body. Segura whips a right hook onto Marquez's hip from outside. Segura stands up fully and brings the hooks up top. Marquez drops some overhand rights on Segura, bopping him on the crown. Low blow by Segura, warned sternly. Marquez takes a moment. Huge left by Marquez.

Round 3

Marquez chips away with a HARD TRIPLE RIGHT HOOK traveling from Segura's ribs to his armpit. Segura takes it without batting an eyelash and keeps pressing forward throwing lead lefts up top and flurrying to the body underhanded. Marquez is turning Segura with one arm placed over his neck as they crash into the ropes. Cuffing right hooks by Marquez. Segura leans in and slugs with shoeshining body shots. Right upper-hook by Marquez, back against the ropes. Segura is throwing boatloads of arm punches leaning in and missing a majority. Marquez is landing HARD punches at a high clip but unable to keep Segura off him. BIG right hook by Marquez, caught on the right inner forearm of Segura as he tries a hook at the same time. Both miss a series of just slightly mistimed overhands. Segura is first to land, just at the bell with a left.
