Hes the one the built a coffin and said he was going to kill Golovkin. But then Stevens gets his arse beat and fvckin quits. He could talk a good game but he cant fight it.

No one is talking about sympathy. There are people on this thread who are clearly detached from reality. Since when does a corner stoppage make someone a quitter?

What does that have to do with anything?

Yeah, this is some BS, there comes a point in a fight where continuing serves no purpose. If his corner had let it go on it woulda just resulted in more hurt, and possibly serious injury, but no realistic chance of changing the course of the fight.

Stevens brought his A game and fought his heart out, don't see why there's any need for this 'quitter' talk, the guy gave his all.

Those defending him are detached from reality. His corner work for him they are one team, they are not different organisations.

When stevens goes home tonight and rests his head on the pillow he will not be regretting his corner's decision because deep down he wanted to quit.

After the first knock down he went into survival mode, he wanted none of it, just held his gloves up and protected himself from punishment to just survive.

Which is disgraceful considering all of the big talk he made before the fight about how he was going to destroy the socalled ''hypejob''.

Yeah the hypejob that made him and his whining corner quit like a ***** on his stool

Anyone calling Stevens a quitter has obviously never fought on any level and doesn't know anything about the sport . This is coming from a Golovkin fan by the way.

The fact that you're even still arguing about this when it's a fact that he didn't actually decide to quit himself, is ridiculous. He didn't even utter a single word to his trainer that would suggest he wanted to stop.

So he looked a bit discouraged? Ever consider it's because he indeed WAS, which doesn't necessarily mean that he wants out? Just a natural reaction to a fight steadily not going your way?

And you're full of **** about him going into full survival mode after the first knockdown. He won at least a round after that point. It was towards the end that he started to back up to the ropes. Your drunk ass doesn't even remember a fight that just started an hour ago.

This. Showed a lot of heart. I guarantee if his corner had not pulled him out he would have gone out and took another beating for a round.

If he didnt quit tonight, Stevens could of kept that coffin for himself. His trash talk was pathetic compared to his effort at "****ing Golovkin up" and killing him. He trash talked a good game, fooled a lot of you idiots, and got a pay day.
