Can GGG stay at 160 and make 20 defences of his title to tie Bernard Hopkins for the record. I believe he already has several. If he could fight 3 to 4 times a year I think its possible.

Over my many decades of watching pro boxing, the MW was my favorite weight category. The reason why it was so great was because Champions stayed at that weight. They did not go up in weight where they unnecessarily took on bigger guys and got their butts kicked as so many do today.

I just don't see the point of needlessly putting on weight just to see if you can take on naturally bigger guys. Yeah that may get you a bigger pay check for one night. But it also means you get your butt kicked and your career shortened.

Let him stay at that weight and take on all comers from the division. If someone else at that weight wants the belt let him earn it in the ring.

Bull****! most of Hopkins title defenses were of the shitty IBF belt.

there is certainly no one out there at MW right now that I see beating him, or 154 for that matter.

This kid is a unique talent.

I think it possible the only real challenge at middle weight is Sergio Martinez, Peter Quillen has no chance. It looks like GGG wants to fight often and won't wait around just for a big payday.

Golovkin called out Martinez and Quillin tonight!!! He should stay at 160 and clean out the entire division!!!

If i'm not mistaken, he already has 9 defenses. If he fights his customary 3-4 times a year, he should reach 20 in about 3 years at the age of 34.

GGG would make 154 easier than he'd make 168.

I think 160 is his perfect weight, so he may as well stay there.
Still a couple challenges left at 160 and GGG is relatively untested against quality opponents.

In all seriousness, I like stevens and he had a lot of guts to get up from that kd. Even had a slight rally a round after.

A few posters talked a lot of **** though so its funny to see them have to act like nothing happened.
