Floyd beats GGG handily. some people just dont understand boxing. Everytime you see a fighter doing well, all you look at is the end result and not the fighter himself.

Floyd would have a party with GGG's leaky defense. Check Left Hooks, Right Hands, Uppercuts, and counter rights are ALL invited too.

GGG has nothing for Floyd, Floyd is very durable and routinely gives up weight to fighters. He'd know how to avoid GGG's Power and when he does happen to get caught he'd take the punch well.

It doesnt matter if it happens at 154 or 160. At 154 he definitely wins because he has some speed there. He'd have to put on a little weight at 160 and I dont know how it would effect him at age 37.

Either way GGG gets the ass handed to him, and then the morning after all of you will be on here saying Floyd "ran" when GGG's eye is swelled up.

Stop overhypinng these fighters, and give them a chance to prove themselves. This is why good fighters never develop, they fight a bunch of bums, and then you throw em in the ring with top tier and they fall.

I think Floyd's ego will make him fight GGG somewhere in the near future, he's not a TOP RANK fighter and who knows how long his HBO contract is. Although I expect Ward to handle him first anyway.

Floyd UD 116-112 over GGG, with Floyd suffering the first LEGIT Knockdown in his career.

Ward UD over GGG, 118-110, with no size advantage, Ward doesnt get knocked down, and blows him out.

I agree. I love Golovkin and SOME of the hype is warranted, however, after watching the stevens fight he was very much open to counters and its now apparent that really does best when his opponent is trapped along the ropes - something floyd either will not allow with quick skillful footwork or will excel at neutralizing the effectiveness of his combinations and body punching with his rolls and counters as we've seen countless times before. GGG has a good thudding jab but canelo's is faster with probably a similar amount of power and we saw how floyd adapted to that to render it ineffective. I can also definitely see a flash knockdown happening at one point, much like the donaire rigo fight, just due to GGGs sheer power and floyd can be caught occasionally. In fact, I see this fight as playing out quite similarly to the donaire rigo fight overall. Like Donaire, if GGG can't one hit KO them, he looks beatable. The accumulation of punches is what took out durable guys like rosado and stevens and Floyd is more durable and takes far less punishment. He outboxes and outclasses GGG if he fights him in his next 4 fights

    yeah
and wARD would probably stop him

his defense is all over the place

    nice jab though

i can see him taking floyd out in a single punch, due to floyds chin

but- if you circle away from his power punch, you take away 90% of his gameplan

similarly if you circle floyd left and have a good left hand, you could ko mayweather in 2 rounds

pacquiao could have done it with roach in his corner

You start off claiming Floyd would "embarass" Golovkin, but then end up predicting just a 116-112 win for Floyd with him getting kd on the way, which is hardly embarassing. If you are going to contradict yourself in the Space of one post, maybe you shouldn't be starting threads.

GGG would ****in hurt floyd. golovkon is too big and skilled. golovkin cuts the ring off very well and he showed that he can take a punch from a puncher. mayweather would not have the firepower to hold off a man so much bigger and very skilled. there are weightclasses for a reason.

look casuals, the reason floyd beats him is this

floyd will never get hit clean, so that nullifies the power

and GGG doesnt have the speed, or the left hand (required) to hurt floyd in any way

    easy money for money

Get your medicine regulated and quick. Golovkin would mutilate Floyd. He would not be hurt by Floyd, sucker punched by Floyd or impressed by Floyd. I'm hoping they fight so I can enjoy it and win some money.

It's embarrassing in the sense that a guy coming up two weight divisions at the age of 37 and beating an undefeated KO artist handily would be embarrassing. I forget the IQ level on this site, I'll try to be more direct next time around.

lol I bet you havent sparred or boxed a single round of your life. there are weightclasses for a reason bud. a murderous Middleweight puncher with great offensive game against a WW is a mismatch. what is floyd gonna hit him with that will prevent golovkin from putting him on the ropes and battering his body? golovkins jabs alone would be a nightmare for little floyd.
