There's no doubt GGG is an exceptional fighter, with good footwork, speed and power. But last night we learned how ineffective (and vulnerable) he is boxing off the back foot. A guy like Chavez who applies constant pressure and has an excellent chin would be too much for GGG, despite being an inferior boxer in terms of skills. Stylewise, he'd be a nightmare for GGG
are u serious? did you miss watching vera back chavez jr.'s ass up and light him up? golovkin would ****in hurt him.
Stylistically its not a good fight for GGG. He does much better with speedsters than with iron chinned volume punchers but still he would bust up Chavez and stop him late.
JCC is extremely average, if he was another name without the backing he's got he wouldn't have been world champion.
If they fight at MW, GGG will win. At SMW, might possibly be a different outcome as Chavez is a natural at that heavier weight. GGG will have to pack on some weight to reach that level and it may slow him down.
Golovkin would work combinations off and go to Chavez gut. The body work would be his downfall being as he hates working out. Even with his notorious rehydration coming into the fight, Golovkin will hit him too often and to hard to make it all 12. It would be ironic to see him get beat by a guy who sort of physically resembles his father
Vera didn't do **** to Chavez, wtf are you talking about Chavez took Vera's punches as if they were mosquito bites, on the other hand Chavez rocked Vera the few times he let his hands go. If Chavez had any energy whatsoever (mfer was totally gassed after round 3) he would have blown Vera away ontopic, I dont think he can beat GGG. nobody below 175 can
First of all, Jr isn't beating any "exceptional" fighters. Secondly, it would be target practice for GGG - Jr would be marching forward, eating power shots all night until they throw the towel in. Do you think Chavez can box off the back foot? He'll walk into shots until he's saved from himself.
