GG is being hyped to the max just because he's a bit of a puncher.

he has defeated nobody of note , is truly overrated.

    Chavez by points

Whether he's overrated or not, he's still a lot better than Chavez - the guy who had a huge size advantage and was beaten by Brian Vera.

If Jr actually trained and took it seriously it might be a good fight, but GGG would still likely win handily.

If the Jr we have seen lately , such as the one who fought Vera showed up... GGG would end his boxing career. Seriously, JCCJr backing up GGG? Stevens game plan was to back up GGG as well and actually made a good go at it. Golovkin was at times just luring him out, every time Stevens made a serious go at using his power and speed to back up Golovkin and take over the fight he lost that clash and ended up back agaist the ropes again.

Stevens is skilled, and was very very fit and very determined.

Theres no way papa Chavez would let Jr face off against GGG. Not as he is now.

This could all change if Jr actually took his career and conditioning seriously. He is a talented boxer. He has the potential to be on Golovkin level. But putting a huff'n'puff doughboy in the ring with Golovkin is just asking for a lengthy hospital stay.

this fight would be a head on collision. GGG seems legit with his power I remember when he Ko'd Bute with head gear on in the AMS . this fight ould come down to who could take who's power shots better as both seem to have a good beard I think it ends on a body shot

it depends a lot about who would impose better his game plan and his fighting style.

if 3G boxes and use his footwork very well till the end of the fight he wins this fight even @ 168.

if he chooses to stay head to head with JCC and trade, he'd be chopped down cuz JCC would impose his size advantage.

GGG didn't have the best defence last night... that's for sure..

Why position himself to take the shots he did? especially when it looked like he was trying to slowly pick apart a hurt Stevens rather than go for the kill... Just ended up making the fight harder and longer than he needed to...

For what it's worth, Chavez Jr would FVCK UP Quillin.

He'd likely lose closish fights to Geale, Barker, Murray, and he'd rightly be KTFO vs GGG.

But that said, he would steamroll Quillin who is quickly becoming the running joke of the MW titlists.:yep:yep:yep
