I read that Golovkin is going to fight in Monte Carlo in Feb

Who will step up to the plate, Daniel Geale has no excuses anymore, I think it's time he stepped up.

Maybe Murray will step up.. Quillin wants nothing to do with GGG.

Quillin could technically take it, since it ain't an HBO event, but let's face it, Schaeffer wouldn't let him even if the offer was made and he wanted it.

Murray seems to be in the front running right now if he gets past Wood; he'll be GGGs mando, and the noises are he's gonna be in a title fight in Feb. With Sturm and Barker doing their thing and Maravilla out, it's either kid C or GGG.

At a stretch it could be Quillin, but after their respective last showings I don't think Murray is a risk Kid C wants either.

The only other name that seems to be in the mix could be Mora, but I'd guess he'd be very much a second choice.

I thought he would save the Murray fight for an HBO date and fight a bum like Geale in Monte Carlo to stay busy.

Getting a US visa is a problem for Murray. So this would take care of it, if HBO agreed to televise. But the time difference makes it less appealing to them

Looks like Geale is lined up for a rematch with either Sturm or Barker as he`ll probably fight the winner of that fight.

I think Murry could give Golovkin problems. Steven`s had some success with the high guard but didn`t have the range on his punches to be able to affectively counter. Murry fight in this style every time and he has the size to make it work. Would be two come forward fighters meeting in the middle of the ring. Thats a styles match-up I`d want to see.

No word on weather HBO is going to be in Monte Carlo?

No if Sturm beats Barker, Barker has an immediate rematch clause. Geale has nothing to do.

    I see. Thanks for clarifying.

  13. Would K2 promotions do business with Showtime, or are they restricted to just HBO?

Cant see them taking a dangerous opponent on short notice like this. I expect another ishida level challenge.
