Round 1 Shakhnazaryan is trading jabs with Nabiyev on the outside, then bursting inside with big hooks to the body. Nabiyev circles wide and then leaps from a side angle in to ambush Shakhnazaryan with his own hooks up top before Shakhnazaryan can spin to face him. Shakhnazaryan gets his arms in the way and counters with hooks to the body. Jabs on the outside as they settle down, the rhythm spiking and ebbing. 10-9 Shakhnazaryan
Round 2 Shakhnazaryan is hooking the body with both hands, ducking when done as Nabiyev jabs out at him. Shakhnazaryan drops his left arm to rest against his stomach and fires counter hooks while leaning backward as they both continue to ring each other as measured pace. Counter hook by Nabiyev, on the chin. Shakhnazaryan regroups and comes back with hard body hooks. 10-9 Shakhnazaryan 20-18 Shakhnazaryan
Round 3 Shakhnazaryan is leaning either way and slipping jabs, drawing Nabiyev into counter hooks and straight rights to the body. Nabiyev leans to his right and then bobbles the other way loading up a big left hook which Shakhnazaryan catches on the arm. Nabiyev hops in and out throwing 1-2s, Shakhnazaryan circling off the ropes and hitting the bod 10-9 Shakhnazaryan 30-27 Shakhnazaryan
Round 4 Good sustained action. Shakhnazaryan is pressing forward throwing combinations and finally mixing in some head shots. 1-2-3s, backing Nabiyev off. Nabiyev plants himself and fires a nice counter right hand down the pipe. Accidental low blow by Shakhnazaryan. 10-9 Shakhnazaryan 40-36 Shakhnazaryan
Round 5 Shakhnazaryan is whipping hooks at Nabiyev's jaw and then stuffing jabs into his mouth, popping his left elbow transitioning between the straight and curved shots, alternating every other while staying at mid-range with quick shuffling footwork to remain squared up. Nabiyev is turning and blocking, loading up counter right hands, scoring a few but getting out-landed. 10-9 Shakhnazaryan 50-45 Shakhnazaryan
They keep playing "Rollin'" by Limp Bizkit in between rounds. Is pop culture just that far behind over in Krasnodar that crappy nü-metal from 15 years ago is only now getting big?
Now they're playing "We Will Rock You" by Queen. I want to interview the Basket Hall DJ and find out what his views of Americans consist of. (probably we all eats donuts and hamburgers every day and wear cowboy hats)
