Golovkin is the best middleweight in the world today!!! Golovkin has really good skills, experience, 350 amateur fights, great footwork, power, knows how to cut off the ring, great variety of punches, really good chin, stamina etc. Macklin took Martinez 11 rounds, gave him a lot of trouble, but Golovkin stopped Macklin in the 3rd round with a body punch!!! Brinkley predicted that Golovkin would easily beat Stevens and that he would beat Ward as well. Ward refused to take a drug test. Ward refuses to fight outside his home town without his personal referee, judges, boxing commission, ad infinitum..........Golovkin has been calling out Martinez and Quillin. Who else can he fight now? He will probably have fight Murray next, then hopes to get the other title holders into a ring. Golovkin also knocked Ishida through the ropes and out cold in the 3rd round. Ishida knocked out Kirkland and went 12 rounds with Paul Williams. Williams could not hurt Ishida, much less knock him down. Golovkin is the only one who has knocked Ishida down and knocked him out!!!

 

Ok, so he's slow, he's got no defense, and his power is overrated.

Now Martinez fight him.

Stevens only lasted so long because he was in survival mode from the first punch, I think he had a cheek calling Matthew Macklin a "scared fighter", he didn't look too brave once Golovkin decked him the first time, that facial expression will go down in history

 

I don't understand why some boxing fans get are so intent on convincing each other that Golovkin's really not very good. Is this actually supposed to change anyones mind or is it just straight up trolling?

I woulda though a heavy hitting KO artist woulda been a gift to boxing fans, but instead some guys are treating GGG like he's some kinda embarrassing aberation who we should all hope loses as soon as possible so we can forget about him.
