Glen Johnson, De La Hoya, Trinidad, Winky Wright, Pascal, Tarver, Pavlik are not as good as Eubank & Kessler?

skillswise, Calzaghe was in trouble when he stepped up to world level (reid, Kessler and arguably old Hopkins, but man that's 50% hopkins), but Joe was lucky enough to have fortune on his side in each of three fights - Kessler was fortunately injured and gassed out, Reid was arguably a loss or draw and Hopkins gassed halfway so that Joe could start winning rounds.

I've never seen Bhop outskilled, he holds up well against anyone whilst his lungs or health have pertained. And Bhop stepped up to world level at least 20 times, not just in 3 fights and not accidentally.

Calzaghe he beat BHOP in his own back yard simply because he was better, Bhop might have the better resume and record but fact is when they fought Calzaghe proved to be the better fighter

This poll actually restores (some of) my faith in this board. Even with Joe's hardcore fans and their 5 alt accounts they each have BHop hop is winning over 3-1.

:rofl :rofl Absolute unadulterated bull manure
    Now explain to me this......
If what you say was even partly true why did Slappy Joe duck Bernard's offer to go to Wales for a rematch??? Heck what a way to thank his fans for being so loyal to him over the years. Rematch Hopkins in front of his home town fans to put an end to all the controversy & show who really was the better man.
Do you know why he ducked Hopkins & shot the finger to his fans???
He knew he didn't really win the first fight he got a gift. Slappy barely threw 20 LEGAL!! punches in the whole fight. Slappy got put on his ass to boot ROFL
I do agree with you on one point the corrupt referee Enzo musta greased his palm well to take such good care of slappy joe.
Face it Calzaghe isn't fit to carry Bernard Hopkins jockstrap

Just look at their faces the next day, Calzaghe was swollen, battered and bruised, whereas Hopkins looked like he'd played a leisurely round of golf rather than been in a fight, he didn't have A SINGLE mark on him.

both of themlost, joe showed he was incapable of taking advantage of a 40something until he gassed, Bernard had to fake it for 6 rounds when he no longer had the lungs to hit joe.

Due to Hopkins being at such an age to win a world title he will be looked on well, but if you look at resumes consider this.

Hopkins doesnt have a win as good as Eubank or undefeated Kessler on his resume, Calzaghe has that, and a win over Hopkins

Look below for Oscar and Tito, same can be said for Winky fighting at LHW where he had zero pedigree. Shocked you think the others compare
De La Hoya and Trinidad are great fighters but not great MW wins or top MWs. Hopkins turned pro inside CW and Tito was a former WW that had been put over 7 times I know of, De La Hoya turned pro at SMW, neither have great MW pedigree. Eubank has great SMW pedigree and prime Kessler was a unified champ at the weight, plus Calzaghe has the Hopkins victory
