This is a fight Donaire could lose and it doesn't make commercial sense either.

No one takes an easy decision against Chris John. Not even Floyd would have been able to do it easy.

I don't think Donaire can outbox him. He will have to go for the KO and I'm not sure he can do that. Tough fight for Donaire.

Donaire has never faced a natural Featherweight & Chris John just like Lomachenko are both bigger and more skilled than Donaire

I've lost track of Chris since he only fights in Asia and don't know the level of his recent opposition.

Chris John is a great fighter, he beat Marquez. However, Donaire would be too fast for John.

Chris John is at least less boring than Running Rigo.

His decision victories over Mathebula and Vazquez Junior, frankly, were not easy, and neither of them is anywhere near as good as even a past-it John. So, I'm not sure why you think he'd have an easy decision. What are you seeing about Donaire that makes you think by quality or style that he could move up to John's weight and take an easy decision over him? Because whatever it is, I'm not seeing it. I'm not saying I don't think it could happen, but I wouldn't bet on it at all.

Bradley and it wasn't that close. I'm a huge Marquez fan but Bradley gave him a real lesson. Marquez beat John.
