    Are you drunk?

Weirdest post (excluding the lounge obviously I've ever read here.
Haven't seen much of Conn so I can't really comment on this matchup but I get the feeling Joe is being underated as usual.

Actually did anyone see the Bika fight, I was pissed and talking to a bird on the phone, but thought it was a mighty close call

I had Hopkins winning, but bare in mind Joe was 36-37 himself, and made it close. Hopkins is nothing like Conn, he is much craftier, better defense and a better counter puncher.

Conn also doesnt have a particularly deep or earth shattering LHW resume. Calzaghe also in his 168lb fights would at least be as big as Conn who was a small LHW

Froch would look like Lacy in there. The Lacy win is getting underrated now, Joe ruined Lacy and I could tell as I watching it that Lacy was taking too much punnishment, Joes lack of power made it a much more sustained beating. Lacy was battering some pretty decent competition, nothing great but decent, he destroyed Robin Reid who was the rightful IBF/WBA champ

You've got Billy Conn, who nearly beat Joe Louis against Calzaghe who struggled to beat Hopkins! ****ing hell does the Joe love in know no bounds? I don't even consider Joe a great fighter, never mind capable of beating people like Conn! Calzaghe's on the level of "very good", not great!

Anyone picking Calzaghe over Billy Conn would have the ghosts of Joe Louis and Jack Blackburn laughing in their graves!

Conn koed hwts and nearly beat Joe Louis. He would go in as a favorite against Calzaghe and would not disappoint.

Honestly what does Conn's success against a 6'2 210lb Louis have to do with him facing a 6'0 LHW swarmer with the movement and volume of Calzaghe? Conn's MW and LHW record is far more relevant beating Yarosz, Apostoli, Kreiger, Lesnevich including two Southpaws in Bettina and Corbett.

What's relevant is that Conn could take a hwts punch and hit hard enough to ko hwts, hurt and almost beat Joe Louis.

Pardon am way but Billy weighed 169 vs Louis and was clearly at his all time peak as a fighter that nite.
Just beginning to touch his prime at 23 ys old and power punching Joe like hell!
And this according to Pittsburgh fight scribes Harry Keck-Regis Welsch-Havey Boyle et all, and there were none better.
Choosing him on any other nite in a fantasy fight is very ???????
