SRL only won 10 title fights. Get outta here with that competition crap. SRL won half as many title fights.

IMO, this represents the dilemma Mayweather faces.

You knock him for not 'liking to fight' or not being 'prepared to fight if necessary'. But this ignores the immediate rematch he gave to Castillo, the in-the-pocket performances against Chavez/Hatton/Cotto, the chasing of DLH through 3 divisions, the walking down of Zudah, and the double down aggression against Mosley after being bombed in Round 2.

There are numerous examples of Mayweather showing supreme fighting spirit. And yet in your eyes, he doesn't measure up to the standard of a guy who actually QUIT in the ring, the guy who added the phrase 'no mas' to the boxing lexicon. (NOTE: I don't say that to knock Duran, but only to show the selective blind spots people use when critiquing Mayweather)

Vacation? you guys still harping on that? **** is null considering he tried making the fight before cotto

****ing watch the video in context rather than your dumbass agenda...he stated health is important which is why he wanted the tests...take the tests and the fight would have been made

your arguments are pathetic...come with more substance next time you decide to type

Hatton after TKO loss from Floyd

Cotto was an awesome fight. Can't hate.

DLH after losing to FLoyd...and fighting at a weight he hasn't been in years...for ****'s sake Pac was heavier than him fight night

MOsley, after losing to FLoyd.....but Roach wanted no part of Mosley after the Margarito destruction "because you're too good"...

Best boxer without a doubt. I don't think anyone really doubts this.

GG has not even unified the mw division. Until then, GG is not an option for Floyd.

he avoided cotto, williams and pacquiao at 147.

a shot cotto gave floyd his toughest fight, no wonder he retired in 2007 rather than fighting him.

pacquiao is the best of the era, he maxed out the potential of his body.

If SRL or Hagler could've took the skills of Mayweather into the ring with them, they would have gladly left thiers in the locker room.:bbb

Well when Mayweather starts getting into the ring with Hearns/Barkley?Hager type fighters we'll know more about his true character when it comes to his fighting spirit. Chavez/Hatton/Cotto isn't exactly Hagler/SRL/De Jesus in my book, but to each his own.
