    Get Real

Everytime Segura fights its FOTY candidate, he improved alot and should be a favorite against anybody under Flyweight

Segura vs. Marquez was a FOTY and FOTD-so-far candidate, but only the 2nd real candidate of his career. (the first being Calderon I)

Segura vs. Sosa was good but not great. Same with Segura vs. Salado, which began with seesawing momentum but swung in Segura's favor about halfway in.

Segura vs. Viloria was too one-sided.

Calderon II was an execution, picking up where I left off.

Segura vs. Canchilla I was sort of the opposite dynamic to Segura vs. Salgado, where it got off to a brilliant start but instead of gaining control Segura lost it and never recovered it.

Pray tell what else he was involved in that was a FOTY contender? AFAIK there have only been 2. (albeit two extremely memorable ones, and Segura vs. Marquez probably shouldn't even be called a contender but a lock for 2013...and very much a leading contender for the FOTD so far)

Raymi won't **** about with Segura anyway. He's not undefeated. The guys that want to be worried are: Menayothin, Sabillo, Buitrago, Miyazaki.

If he moves up in weight that Ioka, Gonzalez and Inoue.

Can any of them take him past the 1.30 mark to truly test his conditioning? :think

Well, only one of those guys after this month, unless they draw. ;)

...or are draws considered an unacceptable blemish not befitting a Raymi victim?

Does anybody have their copy of the Book of Raymi handy? Are draws halal or haraam?

That's like favoring undefeated Gary Russel over Pacman for a Mayweather fight

Segura improved alot if he decides to move back to 105 lbs he can get all the belts

Undefeated fighters are more vulnerable vs brawlers

    Answer me, eltirado! :cus

Besides the pair I mentioned, when has Segura participated in even a top 5 runner-up FOTY?

Russell Jr? Get real. How many consecutive first round KO's does he have over undefeated fighters.

Perhaps not? He hasn't been calling out Miyazaki to my knowledge anyway.

Perhaps he should fight this guy next:

To punish him for his stupid name. How can you be called Knockout and not stop everybody you've been in the ring with?

:think Gary would actually do a lot better versus Floyd than Manny would...
