A boxer scared of another boxer. What a bunch of joke fans. No pro fighter is scared of anybody. They're not wussies that create endless ALTs and hide behind a keyboard. YDKSAB. By your logic then Pac is scared of Rios? Why is he making him take tests then? Oh you mean PEDs do help performance and can help a fighter KO another fighter?

For all the talk of Mayweather and his demands/excuses throughout the whole process he only had two drug testing and eventually more money, and given what we know now he was right on the money.

Pacquiao or more so Bob Arum had a long list of reasons.
The scared of needles thing, can't test to close to fight, blood test weakens Pac, Roach himself said in 09 Mar was to soon and he needed more time to figure out how to beat May, agreeing to testing then backing out, don't know who to call, can't fight in May, needs a stadium, will take less for the fight then only 50/50 a week later, and so on.

The guys actually involved in negotiations for Mayweather all said the same thing take the test and we'll fight (Ellerbe, Shaffer, May jr). Thoses involved for Pacquiao had a different story every week and none were the same (Arum, Roach, Todd).

Do I believe Pacquiao is on PEDs not really but when you freakout everytime they bring it up who can blame em for thinking that. Then you have the decline in his performance since they brought it up its not like he's been fighting elite comp add to that him turning down drug testing for Mayweather, Mosley, Marquez III & Bradley(they asked for drug testing for Marquez IV when Marquez said as long as they both test Pac's team never brought it up again) only to finally do it himself for Rios.

Of course fighters can be afraid to lose - who wants to lose? Floyd commonly states that he has nightmares about losing, and that he wakes up and trains harder when this happens. So ultimately, you are very wrong and its obvious that you have never boxed yourself for you to be able to say such things.

He made it pretty damn clear that his health was too important, he also kept throwing roadblock after roadblock and even his father advised against it.

The only people that actually believe Floyd made any effort are the most hardcore Floyd fans that believe everything he says.

Did Manny ever intend on taking the TEST!!!!!

( personally I do not care for Floyd....however, I believe Manny had too much to lose by taking the test )

lol, rubbish! they had a signed Contract (BTW, signing a contract shows an intention to be bound). this is not one endless round of Negos.

in 2009 the fight did not happen (despite being signed) because they did not agree on testing. the next time Negos started Pac said he would take the test but he wanted the old deal that he walked away from (50-50), but things had changed Floyd was clearly the bigger draw by then so he wanted the lion share. If you do not get it these are two different rounds of Negos, independent of each other.

Now things have changed even more, Pac "lost" two fights in a row and Floyd is coming off of a HUGE win. So if the entered into Negos right now, should we go with 50-50? HOw about a 24 day cut off? unfortunately for Pac he has lost all his leverage

Then you should know that boxers can be afraid to lose. They may not be scared of the physical pain, but they are fearful psychologically of losing. No one wants to be second best, and no one wants to look bad to the public and to themselves.

We keep going around in circles, fact is Floyd has moved on to bigger and better things. He doesn't need Pac. Floyd is the biggest attraction in boxing and apparently most entertaining because he continues to break PPV records. Pac and Arum ... they look like beggars. Wait at the back of the line to get a piece of the Floyd pie.

Then Manny must be really scared. He's lost three times. No wonder he's making Rios, who looks like an average joe, test.
