this fight getting cancelled should be the last straw

hes imo the 2nd best fighter in the UK after Froch

he's should be a massive name with a big profile.

    hes very very good

time to **** hatton off, and move to hearn or someone else.

he should be headlining big events in st helens.

vicky fatton needs to stick to being a trainer
he's stalling Sergey Rabchenko's career as well

It does suck, he had a really strong showing against Sergio Martinez and hasn't done anything to build on the momentum that he gained from that fight. Hopefully a fight can be made sometime soon against either Golovkin or Quillin.

Everybody needs to bare in mind that Martin can't fight in America and apparently lost out on the chance to fight both Quillion for his belt and Chavez. That severely limits his options which isn't Ricky's fault

Dispite them saying the issue can be resolved with the US authorites I think its more complicated then just filling out paperwork otherwise Arum who's a Harvard educated lawyer by trade would have taken care of it in order to get the Chavez deal done.

Strong showing is underselling it. I felt he beat Martinez and made it look easy too. Sergio just didn't know what to do with himself and looked dreadful before the gift decision.

    Murray definitely needs better promotion.

There is a problem with him fighting in the USA which is a shame has held him back as has his promoter in securing him work here unfortunately.

To me does need a new promoter the great effort against Martinez hasn't been built on because of this also.

If Hatton signed a deal with Boxnation then why is he fighting on sky?
    Can someone explain?

Fast Car has made it clear that he will work with other promoters(perhaps there is an exception) and I am sure with Hatton's limited intelligence and in this case limited options,Eddie got Murray for peanuts.
Ricky should just train fighters and leave the promoting to the adults. He is way out of his league.

Blessing in disguise that the wood fight fell through.
    Or has it?
What's to stop Wood travelling to fight Murray on the Froch undercard?
I never liked that fight, but it's tough on Wood....why does he have to get dumped...if he is he willing to travel?
Has he said anything about him coming to England being an option at all?
Has this been discussed at all?

For me Murray is the best middleweight in Britain. Hope to see Barker v Murray in 2014.

I don't care who his promoter is as long as I can see his fights on TV.

Judging by what people have said about Wood he wouldn't get away with anywhere near the **** he pulls in Australia so that's probably why.

Good an explanation as any CC....Woods is so raw, unschooled, and lets face it, downright dirty that he was a serious injury waiting to happen.
Murray needed him like a hole in the head.
Wonder who will face Murray now?

I'll go with GGG tbh, one thing I like about Murray is he's proven he's not scared to fight abroad when's he's the underdog. As for who he will fight on the Froch undercard I hold little hope, I'm really disappointed with this card, it probably would have been Kerry Hope had he not just fought.
