Calzaghe throws a multitude of slaps and wins while Bailey throws a multitude of stats and loses?

I understand that Calzaghe and Jones negotiated between themselves and agreed 50/50, but where do you have information to say Calzaghe made a call to Roy and offered 50/50?

Also Roy wasnt 0-3 when the fight happened. Roy was on a run of 3 wins, with an undefeated fighter and Tito considered by some as Hopkins best win in the mix. The last loss Roy had was a decision to the then LHW champ.
It was Tarver who fought Roy coming off 2 losses and Hopkins who fought Roy coming off a loss, not Calzaghe.
This 2003 crown jewels comment you make, seems odd as there had been talks of them fighting then but Roy went to HW instead. So 2003 may well be wrong, as I can show you sources for Calzaghe looking for that fight in 02 and Roy was at HW in 03.
99 Calzaghe may not have been chasing Roy as a new champ in a completely different division, hence DIFFERENT DIVISION, but in 00 he was in agreement for the fight to be made and I can and have shown sources for that also.
Can you double check your details to confirm?

Jones simply doesn't have a Chin. There really isn't anything else to say. Plenty of evidence this was well known early in his career.

I know Big Roy didn't want his son fighting people because they 'punched too hard'

I know Jones had a carefully crafted career where certain fighters were avoided that had one specific characteristic/attribute

I know Jones has been brutally and embarrassingly KOed on 3 separate Continents.

Those of us who were old enough to understand Boxing for his whole career know what the deal was. Larry Merchant sure did too :rofl

So Toney wasn't a puncher ? Do you know how ******ed you sound ?

Jones carefully craftd career thats rich give me one of his contemporaries that had a resume as deep as his ?

And Jones was KOed waaaaay past his prime after dominating for over 10 yrs but I know he had no chin ,no plan b blah blab blah

And who gives a **** about Merchant's opinion he only cares about Gatti fights !

Hopkins has a much deeper resume. It isn't even close. And no James Toney was not and has never been a savage puncher. Ever.

Lou Del Valle had Jones down with one punch. That is the level of opposition that was knocking Jones down in his Prime.

Merchant called Jones out and embarrassed him about his cautious handpicking ways live on HBO and called his fight 'crap' and apologized to the fans.

And Toney wasn't a savage puncher :lol:How many KO's did he have going into the Jones fight ? Man your exposing yourself more and more !

Hopkins has a much deeper resume :lol::lol::roflYeah OK ...

Lou Devalle was Jones sparring partner who could punch and was also avoided by DM ..He also became WBA champ genius !

And do I need to pull up the list of fighters Mechant wanted Jones to fight out of the 4guys he listed Jones beat what 3 of them you sure you want to go that route ?

Actually Jones fought the worst two on the list :rofl:patsch

Hopkins avenged his defeat. So, no Jones didn't beat 4 of them he fought the worst 2 lost to Hopkins in the rematch didn't fight DM and didn't fight Collins. Not sure where you are getting 4 wins from.

Again, Jones liked to carefully pick his opponents and we all know why.
