It happens when all fighters fight Floyd though they dont do the things they usually do, if he bobbed and weaved he woulda got countered, its pointless doing that to Floyd because he will never leave himself open

Disagree, Flyod was hitting Cotto with harder shots because it was a tough fight, he was just outboxing Canelo and not really trying to hammer him as often.

Cotto gave Floyd a better fight than Canelito:deal.....so did Robert Guerrero and Carlos Baldomir.

Cotto was a step above Canelo 2 years ago. Currently however, Canelo's poise and composure have caught up with his physical gifts as he has already performed on the biggest stage possible and now has the experience(Mosley, Trout, Mayweather) to draw from when the situation calls for it. I'll be rooting for Cotto but I've got to be objective.

the only thing that i took from that fight with mayweather was that Canelo isnt a go forward kind of killer. He is a killer to be sure, but he works best against fighters who dont move too much, you know what in saying? I aint saying he cant learn how to move,no siree!! just that he has his biggest troubles against guys who dont stand in the pocket and that use the whole ring like is best to do against a Canelo type of boxer. The guy can really hit! BUT Floyd can make you miss better than anyone else Canelo has ever encountered.

As to Canelo blowing up after weighin?? he didnt steam roll floyd at any stage did he?? so why all of a sudden will he fare better against Cotto??? IF Canelo learnt how to move that would be great for him and imagine him being able to land those bombs!! He needs to go back to basics against the better fighters and moving/attacking whilst going forwards is still pretty much the bare basics of an aggressive fighter aint it?

Cotto wins a tense fight because of his ability to follow a gameplan- a gameplan devised by a guy who sees the inherent strengths/ weaknesses of the other guy,and then specifaccly trains his fighter to exploit those areas of weaknesses, that and plus, Cotto has the better of the two styles of fighting, and winning this match up is well within Cottos limitations.Trust me:deal.

Canelo is made for a guy like Cotto

People who base the result of this on how Cotto look'd vs Trout are gonna get a nice reality check

I can't speak for everyone but i don't think Cotto is new and improved just cause he demolished c-level Rodriguez.

the difference is that Roach is pushing Cotto hard in training.

You have to be a hater or an idiot if you can't tell the difference in Cotto's fitness and quickness between the trout and delvin fights

cotto knows what he is facing in canelo and will be ready for war. hard fight for BOTH
