Shields did eventually do movie stunt work. He is also how the Goosen's got into boxing. The story is pretty funny... Apparently, in jr high school, one of the Goosen's got into a dispute with Shields, and went for his big brother because he knew about boxing. Shields said that, if he wanted to fight, they should come to his house. When the Goosen's got there, they saw that Shields had a ring in his backyard. they became friends and the Goosen's became members of Randy's group and even worked in his corner at times.
