 I was completely fascinated by his lounge habits, honestly. I think our lounge culture must have kept him amused during a very rough time, which is something I knew a bit about. Sometimes there would be a "thread clump" with John stuck in it that would make me laugh aloud.

    You know, like:

Would you pee in Lucy Liu's butt?

    Obama - a Neocon illuminati!

White police officer kills black puppy

Jim Carrey rubs his dick on ****** Timberlake at VMA's

When was the first time you realised.....(highlight to find: ....your hero was human?)

    America: Fattest AND most racist!

Cristiano Ronaldo hit on my mate at a party! WTF?!!!

Would you bang a tranny if she looked like this?

And I'd be sitting there "There's John, with his human heroes thread, surrounded by that. Like an ice cube, chilling on an erupting volcano, Garfield carries on. He will be missed. He was like a nice piece of furniture in a roach-infested, smelly apartment that you stare at, focus on, and pretend you're somewhere where it's not out of place at all.

R.I.P. If you saw his name appear on the board you took the time to read his posts.
I always found it hard to get my head round the fact that guys like him and Burt Beinstock
watched and met fighters like Joe Louis and Sugar Ray Robinson in their prime.
They were a direct link to that golden time.

The world has lost a wonderful human being - a true Son of Brooklyn.

I have corresponded with him numerous times over the years and will remember him with great fondness for the rest of my life.

Not only did we all miss out on spending those final months reading his great posts, but so many of his contributions got deleted when the lounge got canned.

We can't even go back and reminisce. That's both really, really sad and also making me pretty angry.
