jeez, Lewis wanted to fight HWs for defending the world HW title, he didn't try to wangle ways to fight 37 year old golfers and natural middleweights to defend against? Chris Byrd?? Sounds like a Klitschko job.

Randall CHEATED with Steroids against Chavez.
Chavez broke Randall's ribs, and Randall was able to go to the 12th round, cause the steroids helped him.

Angulo was unfairly locked-up and was "rusted" from inactivity.

the HOF is corrupt cause any clown can be inducted in the HOF as long as they cheat with PEDs and not get caught, they win a title then go in the HOF.

Mexico has plenty of legends legacies:

    what you got???

    CHEATERS:
    1.) Randall-STeroids
    2.) Mosley-PEDs
    3.) Holyfield-PEds
    4.) Pryor-PEds
    5.) Briggs-PEDs
    6.) Berto-PEds
    7.) Lamont-Peds
    8.) Roy Jones-PEDs
    9.) Toney-Peds

    ....and the list goes on...

Many folks think that Lewis was going to retire following '03 fight with Vitali.

This is not true. Lewis was NOT planning to retire in 2003. The only reason Lewis retired was so that he did not have to face Vitali again. The rematch was in the works for December with Lewis hoping that Vitali would not recover in time for the fight. When it became clear that Vitali's cuts were healing just fine and he would be cleared to fight in December, Lewis changed his tune and pulled out of the fight. Vitali easily defeated Johnson and forced mandatory defense for Lewis. Lewis announced his retirement within one week before WBC meeting scheduled to strip him of the title.

It is obvious that had Vitali not recovered in time for December fight Lewis would fight Johnson or RJJ instead, or, if Vitali lost to Johnson, Lewis would defend against Johnson in '04.

many more people think that its appropriate for a 38 year old man to retire from the top of HW boxing so as to retain his senses for his future life.

Obviously you disagree and think boxers should stick around into middleage to get Parkinsons, damaged retinas, Neurological damage and ruin ALL their future, just so that YOU feel right about your crackpot theory. Its not YOU that has to live another 50 years unable to hold a spoon. You just sit at a keyboard writing **** so arrogantly that you think you have a right to judge these guys.

Why don't you go tell Muhammed Ali that he was a coward and fool for not fighting for titles beyond 38. You moron, he should have retired earlier, not later.

OR... don't go tell Ali that, and never mention your crackpot theories again on ESB.

Amazing isn't it how jealous colonials try to insult Lennox The Lion Lewis!!!!!!
Lennox beat every man he faced in the pro ring. He kicked a prime Vitali's ass when barely 80 % in shape & overweight. This caused Brudder Wlad to take to the hills & hide.
Who else was out there who could seriously challenge Lennox???? No one
Sure he could have done what both Klits have done, & drag up overweight, unskilled opposition & built up a false record . Instead Lennox retired on top at just the right time. Lennox was seond only to Ali
Its time HRH Queen Elizabeth said those immortal words.......

    Arise Sir Lennox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lennox was a great champion but he didn't kicked Vitali ass. Lennox landed some good shots on him but Vitali was working Lennox and was up on the scorecards before the fight was stop due to that nasty cut Vitali suffer. Vitali was ahead on all three judges' scorecards 58–56 so I don't know how the hell you figure Lennox was kicking his ass.
