Requirements for a fight with Andre Ward

Ward is a proven elite fighter. He already proved he was the best at 168 by fighting in the Super 6. A tournament that was supposed to be a showcase tourney for Kessler and Abraham I might add. Ward was brought in to be an opponent, he wasn't expected to win anything. The hate and bashing of the guy is unfounded and reeks of jealously to be honest. Ward is the the #2 P4P fighter in the world behind PBF. To say the guy sucks or he ducks guys is fcuking unfounded and trollish behavior.

 

this guy gets praised by the same people who demonized pacquiao for wanting a blood test cutoff.

 

Requirements:

1) Be a solid contender

2) Be prepared to get schooled

 

You will always have to fight Ward in Ward's home town and agree to have Ward's personal referee, judges, boxing commission, commentators to tell you is winning the fight. Will Ward want a written guarantee that you will throw the fight? Ward's opponent much not be on steroids, but it's OK for Ward to be on steroids, as Ward refuses to take a PED test. Why?

This tournament was designed to showcase Kessler and Abraham both of which were favorites to the American public. No one gave ward any hope of wining he was just filler.

Ward is an awesome fighter. He also likes to fight at home. This is no doubt a comfort to him but he isn't a massive draw at home with a big fan base like Bute so its harder to justify from a neutral perspective.

I think it's a case of him being not as confident as he should be. I mean the likelihood is he'd have beaten Kessler without some of the dirty tactics he employed or Carl Froch anywhere but for one reason or another chose not too. It's all echoes of a certain other SMW champion who get labelled a 'stay at home' fighter before him.

Show me an article or interview where Hershman or other Showtime officials say that. Otherwise it's only your recap of what ESB members predicted in terms of Ward not having a chance, it has no real bearing whatsoever.
