The WBO has just ordered a purse bid for Burns-Crawford.

Terrence Crawford isn't a draw in the USA, while Ricky Burns is popular in Scotland. So the fight would make more money in Scotland than the USA.

But will Crawford be willing to travel overseas?

This is great news this. Burns about to finally give up that title he's been holding hostage worse than Vitali bitchsko.

There is NO WAY this fight will happen in Scotland.

HBO and Toprank will make sure they outbid Matchroom which won't be that hard considering Eddie won't put his hand too deeply into his pockets to get home advantage.

why would fast car put his hand in his pocket for Burns? as soon as he left Frank and wasn't protected he struggled.

No way Matchroom outbid Top Rank and HBO, the end of Ricky's title run is near I think. I would love to see Ricky beat him, just can't see it.

:rofl, there's absolutely no doubt that this yank will be terrified at the thought of coming over and fighting honestly, considering the fact his fellow Mexican-yank after landing such a lucky jaw punch still didn't have the skills to earn the win, pathetic... Of course they'll want to lure Ricky over to scummy yankeeville with the bribed officials and joke drug-testing :deal as that's the only way any yank would 'defeat' Ricky.

So you side with the poor wee victim then? The Mexican-yank was fortunate to get a draw, as I had Ricky up by one point...but I'm reasonable, unlike whinging Raymundo and his blinkered sympathisers :-(

He has been more protected by Eddie then Frank, he fought, Martinez, Mitchell, Katsidis under Frank since he has left he fought unknown Gonzalez and Beltran remember as well if he stayed with FW he would have fought Vazquez, anyway Rickys time as champion is coming to an end Crawford will destroy him

The Vazquez fight was never gonna happen the reason they postponed the fight was because Vazquez said he wasn't coming over for the money offered by Frank, Gonzalez was a mandatory so Ricky had to fight him or lose the belt and he was better than everyone expected with Burns performing one of the worst nights I've seen then we had the Beltran fight who again fought Brilliantly but after a good opening round Ricky's mind just seemed to be elsewhere he didn't look intrested from round 2 to round 7 he had spells from 7 to 12 where he tried but Beltran was a clear winner.
