It makes sense to me that GBP are using Floyds name to keep Khan relevant. So even if Khan doesn't land a Floyd fight (and he shouldn't) there is still that seed planted that if Khan wins his next fight, that there is some type of collision course for these 2. GBP have made it known they want european (UK) exposure and Khan looks to be a decent way to gain it. Especially if you can dangle the Floyd carrot. Will Floyd actually leave Vegas for a fight? Ifthe money is good and Khan is the opponent.. why not?

 

he has said that a fight in the uk is interesting to him but khan needs to have a couple of decent wins behind him (which he is capable of). he does want a fight with khan though but khan has blown it over the last few fights

 

everyone uses floyds name to boost their profile.. Manny for example, and vice versa for floyd.... whenever they are about to fight, both of them always brings up the other name or someone esle brings up the name..Bradley has been in the mix as of recent but its a bad matchup imo..

According to an article from UK newspaper The Daily Express – an article that has been read by many people online – the Floyd Mayweather-Amir Khan fight that has been talked about as a possibility for some time will indeed go ahead next May.

The publication reports how the fight has been “finalised” for May 3rd at Mayweather’s second home of The MGM Grand in Vegas. No source is cited in the article but in truth it will not shock too many fans if the paper is correct and hasn’t jumped the gun. Many fans will, however, be angry if Khan gets this massive opportunity.
