If its true, good opportunity for Martin.Good venue also.As has been said,Gs last fight may have given potential opponents a bit of encouragement, but I think he's still likely to cut a swathe through opponents, not only at middle but the weight above.Guess hell not be on the November bill now if this one is finalised.

I'll be rooting for Double M ,but think this might be a poisoned chalice for him.

Murray has since said he isn't fighting golovkin but will be fighting a different opponent on the same card.

Murray is a good fighter and a tough durable guy who will put up a good fight but i believe GGG will eventually get to him and i expect him to go down by a bodyshot , late rounds

Not happening now, Murray is fighting on the Monte Carlo card though. Disappointing news indeed.

Starting to feel really bad for Murray. He's done everything right in his career so far but all he's getting is a lot of fights that nearly happened. Must be frustrating. That said, missing out on a fight with Golovkin could be a blessing in disguise...

Dude needs a new promoter so he can make a few bucks before it's too late.

Does Murray really need this fight? He won't win and he'll just have another loss on the record.

Why not go a different route and force himself to become a mandatory to Barker's belt?

So it's all smoke and mirrors again. Murray is fighting TBA and GGG still won't have a really big name on his record.

    Disappointment all around

Can't wait to see who TBA turns out to be....suppose there is no chance of the original opponent ,wood, getting on a plane???so who will it be?
Murray is good and very strong, so whoever it is is in for a hiding, volunteers please step forward now....

I don't think he can beat Golovkin but I've read new as offer 500k, that's big money for a challenger, he should take it.

Even if he does lose he can always fall back on the Barker/ibf route.

If offered 500k to fight GGG he should bite their hands off good money for a challenger.

Should he perform as well as he can will only again raise his stock it certainly hasn't done Macklin any harm.
