I think he's kind of small for a middleweight. He looked like a child (in terms of size) in some ways against Stevens.

It is a disgrace that they are having to way over pay Golovkin's opponents. I'm hearing that Curtis Steven got in the neighborhood of $400K - $500K and now Murray's purse is reportedly the same. That is a lot of money for a challenger to take a 3-5 rd beating. With HBO's backing we can expect to see some big names getting in the ring with GGG in 2014, great news for fans.
Stevens was noticeably thicker in the arms and torso. Shorter does not equal smaller. Macklin same height, dedicated MW. Rosado is taller than GGG, had no problem beefing up. As someone else said 154 is for natural MW who cut weight. Anyhow this has the making of a great fight.
Well Hatton said leading up to the Woods fight that they have basically reached a deal and are just finalizing it for Murray to get a title shot in Feb/March. Murray is also the WBA interm champion and was granted an exemption in has last fight when he was supposed to unify with Golovkin. If Murray isn't fighting Golovkin then he'll be dropping his WBA interm belt perhaps facing Barker but he has Sturm and im pretty sure Geale has a rematch too so i don't see how that happens in Feb/March.

This is that fight for Golovkin, we all think he's the **** but this will prove whether we are right or wrong. Murray is tough as nails and arguably undefeated, if Golovkin wins convincingly then we know what's up. Great fight for Boxing fans.
I was sick when GG fought the bum Macklin and felt a lil better when he beat Stevens. Murray is ok, but when is GG going to fight someone who is formidable? When?
I'm going to nickname this 31 year old "The Fraud". GG is getting overrated by Pacs former fanatics, and this clown has not even been challenged. Someone please take over his management and put him in with a real threat. Another Macklin, Stevens or Murray and I'm boycotting this clown.
