    He struggled with Juarez twice,I remember watching the fight live and they gave John the big build and he was awful.Then he came back and fought Juarez again to a lack lustre decision mind you Rocky Juarez was little more than a journeyman at that stage in his career.

    Chris John hasnt been back to the States since.

    I wonder why.

    Floyd Mayweather fought in one country only

    Nacho can brainwash his pupils 1984 style, but he will never be able to change the facts.

    Chris John beat JMM in his own game, owned him & the only counter punches JMM landed were the famous low blows that made him an even bigger loser on the 3 cards.

    The more JMM naysayers try to hide this fact, the more it backfires.

    What kind of recognition does Chris John get fighting in Australia against some bum?

    You need to understand the difference before you come back with a **** statement like that.

    John lost that fight,he was given a home town decision.

    I knew youd mention it because its about the only thing John has achieved thats worth mentioning.

    CHris John is just a guy who got a hometown decision against JMM and
    that is his claim to fame. Had the judges got it right we would not even
    be talking about his "unbeaten" record!:deal

    Indonesians + Southeast Asians = Bigger population than the USA, thats the recognition he goes for

    Also Indonesia is not divided into HBO & Showtime, so he is pretty much the national star over there. He gets paid & laid generously in Indonesia why would he want to come to the USA just to get scrutinized by Jim Lampley on the Gatti list (may he RIP)

    Educate yourself, there is more to this world than your little world you live in :deal

    JMM was judged by 2 Latino judges & a Japanese not hometown, his clock was cleaned. This was prime JMM who just outboxed Pacman into a draw (after surviving the KD carnival)

    Mayweather couldn't keep an uninterrupted title reign aslong as Chris John

    Pacman lost couple of fights

    Chris John remained consistant defending the same WBA title of Pedroza 18 times, ATG on the same level as Mayweather & Pacman despite what simple minded folks think. You had a decade to Stop him and you failed, the P4P hype of his generation going as far as Hamed all the way to Mares...many men...many many men...thats why 50 cents knew better than to put Billy Dib in the ring with Chris John :deal

    No doubt another solid showing of boxing skills especially after the early scare he was patient enough to build up the KO and what a peach of a body shot! He is on eid my favourite fighters right now.

    Ive probably seen twice as much of the world as you,your ignorance is astounding.

    I live and work in Singapore,Ive been all over Asia and Ive been to fights on this side of the world too.I know how much recognition fighters get over here and nothing compared to the States,Chris John doesnt leave his country because he struggles with the tougher opposition fighting in America provides.If Chris John was to go over to America and fight say Johnny Gonzalez or a Ponce De Leon I guarantee you he would struggle badly and probably even lose.

    Why ?

    Because hes used to fighting lower level opponents,hes got one of the most padded records in the game.
