    How do you reckon it hasn't done Macklin any harm, Makingweight? As far as I can see a lot of fans have become quite dismissive of Macklin since the GGG wipeout.....still I suppose a good win against nelly Wilson on TV and he s back in the game?!

    Don't think it did Macklin any good,except it probably being a good payday,which after all is the main thing.Doesnt look like Murray is fighting GGG now.Back to Macklins fight:Nelson is six foot three.Early in Matts career he was outpointed by a similar lad from Sheffield whose name Ive forgotten.Banana skin?

    To me his overall standing in the game hasn't changed in the USA & that's where he operates he's rated fringe top 10 the other side of the pond no more than that.Viewed as a durable,decent test not world level.

    For here i think fans are more dismissive of him because he hasn't/won't so far take the domestic fight's we would all like to see.Macklin was well paid for the GGG 'showcase' & Wilson is a fight if he doesn't win where does he go?Hope that clarify's what i mean't!
