He has some good wins, but surely that hand wrap situation will leave a stain on his career.

    Discuss.

Lets give this question a serious answer.

Antonio had a rough start losing three fights early in his career but then achieved some notability by defeating many good fighters and being touted as possibly the number one challanger to Floyd Mayweathers crown but despite that he didn't manage to maintain a winning streak losing every now and then to other champions/contenders. His best wins were VS Miguel Cotto and Andrew Lewis. In 2009 Margarito got outclassed and exposed by Shane Mosley losing by Ko in the ninth round. During inspections by officials before the Mosley fight a substance was found tucked into Margaritos hand wraps which was later revealed to be plaster of paris. Using plaster of paris to increase the power of your punches is not a practice that's allowed in boxing and there are questions regarding his possible previous use of the substance putting his accomplishments pre Mosley into question.

Seeing as Antonio Margarito accomplished nothing post Mosley and that his accomplishments pre Mosley are questionable sure he could make it into the hall of fame....... the hall of fame of the apartment building he lives in or his high schools hall of fame or something of the sort.
