I'm sorry but the one thing i can't agree on with you OP is that the Ward fight was close, no it wasn't Carl was totally and badly outclassed i mean honestly he was schooled, now granted no shame in that considering Ward is number 2 p4p but let's call it what it was a one sided UD

Let's put it this way, I hope George Groves learn's a bit more respect after he's suffered his first defeat by way of KO.

I hope you got it off your chest!

I dont know Froch outside of boxing, seems alright to me most of the time in interviews. He's earned his way the hard way with minimal tv exposure.

He can comment about Ward / GGG in the ways he does cos he has fought one of them and been in with most of the top guys so can answer in that way....Groves cant he hasnt been in with any of them!

I like Groves and I'd like to think he is the next British SMW star of the future, but he showed himself up on Ringside the other week as some immature school kid, didnt like that put me off him a bit.

I'd like to see him get knocked out now purely from the way he was on Ringside! lol

Froch couldn't beat Ward with a baseball bat in his hands. Will always be the B side to that fight.Dirrell was beaten by the judges and not Froch and Kessler beat the **** out of him.
    Much ado about nothing.

From a style point of view Ward is all wrong for Froch, but if a rematch happened I think it would be closer

Not a chance. Froch couldn't get near Ward. Was painfully outclassed.

Two cards had it at 115-113, the only difference this time is that it would be even wider.

Those two cards of 115-113 were a joke he lost by miles and I agree was out classed.

I think his tactics were all wrong that night, and I think he would fight a different fight

I know im in the majority here .. but i have a sneaky feeling that Groves stops Froch.

Froch is pretty easy to hit and i honestly think Groves is going to land some huge shots at some stage.

Its fair to say Froch could just as easily blow Groves away, but i just have that feeling Froch is going to be open and walk onto some big shots.

Fight won't go past the 8th round Froch TKO, my prediction is he will drop him in the 7th then twice in the 8th before its stopped.

    You heard it hear first

Put a ****** on it monster monster

Didn't you mean to say the minority,Llanlad?Apart from that, you could be right, but I dint really think so.Boxing Monthly did one of the polls they do and almost all the top trainers, etc. picked Froch.BUT a main factor could be age. Some fighters seem to decline overnight, and Im hoping that its Carls turn.Nothing against him,but would just like to see Groves career unfold as he's the younger man whereas Carl maybe has only 2 or 3 fights left.I think the reality is though, because he's so dedicated hell come in prime condition and stop George late, possibly with a cut.Ive not bought the fight yet as still not sure it happens. Will wait till the last couple of days.
