Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Look styles make fights and Khan has a style to cause Mayweather problems and will definitly win rounds.

Does he deserve it ? NO he doesn't but financially risk / reward the fight is perfect for Floyd, the UK audience will buy this fight on mass, not just the Khan fans but the people who want to see him get KTFO and Mayweather has a big following over here anyway.

This fight will generate the most money Pac Man aside from any of the available world level fighters and Mayweather goes for the money fights first and foremost. If he was bothered about legacy he would have fought Pac man

 

Yes! Nice tune up for whoever is next! This fight might add longevity and take Money into bonus coverage on the current contract. Contract extensions are always preferred by athletes!!!

Styles do make fights, however, and Khan probably can outbox a lot of people that would in turn outbox Rios.

Floyd calls himself money. Someone who brings money deserves it. Plus if you actually analyze styles and attributes you'll realize that Khan makes for a more entertaining fight than most of the guys Floyd has fought recently or most of the guys available. Floyd has fought guys coming off decent wins before and can do that after he fights Khan (if he does fight him). If people don't want to watch he Khan fight they don't have to but most will because it will be fun/entertaining.

Never said he was.:huh. Swift is far from a tune up. He's the lineal 140lbs champ. Imagine if Mayweather were to go down to 140 and claim lineage at 140 too? or Even if Garcia moved up to 147 for it. Khan is just there to be milked from. I doubt Mayweather would need a tune up. just my opinion.

I understand where you're coming from. He's at the stage now where he should take the toughest fights if he wants to be seen as a top 20 ATG after he retires. I'm talking as to who deserves the fight, not who makes sense money wise but I understand where you're coming from. :good
