I'll be happy to be corrected but my understanding is this- Stevenson was essentially the muscle for a gang who forced young women/ girls into prostitution. I'm speculating a bit but I believe it was mainly Haitian immigrants who were targeted. He wasn't the brains behind the operation but nonetheless in his duties as enforcer did have day to day control over the girls. He used to make them fight each other (presumably this wouldn't have been voluntary - ie he threatened them with violence to make them fight each other) and would apparently punch (KO?) the 'winner' in such fights. No **** charges were brought, so Stevenson cannot be characterised as a ******, nonetheless **** is SOP when forcing women into prostitution (my mother has acted as a support worker for EE *** workers brought into the UK) - and more than likely this was something that was done to the victims of the gang. It is improbable IMO that Stevenson did not at the very least, know that **** and ***ual abuse were being commited - even if he there is no proof that he took part (incidentally, **** charges are almost never brought in the case of prostitutes given the virtual impossibility of establishing absolute proof). Anyways. Let's see what he says in the vid. Ain't saying the guy should have to be punished for the rest of his life, but I wonder how his victims feel when they see him feted in the Canadian sports pages....

i gues you dont know how it works....i explain a little to enlighten you... the italians run the game...the got the irish who run the port, so they use the irish to clear all imports...then they got the street gangs(blue and red) who are both working for the bikers(hells), the hells get their **** off the italians... italians-->bikers-->street gangs(crips and bloods both work together for the hells in a recent arrangement)... the irish are independant and get a pass from the italians because they have controled the port for over 50 years, they are like allies, they make $ from each other and dont step on eachothers toes the street gangs are on the lowest level and do the most dirt...they get the members who are under 18 to do the worst of it cuz the charges will be less than someone who is much older. so to answer your question its the youths who do the most dirt....

OK, I'm good with that - asked at the start of the post for clarification. Was just doing my best to piece together a 15 year old puzzle with limited information. I also know the kinda stories involved so I did some speculating... I'm guessing you're Canadian then? FWIW I got Stevenson alongside Kovalev as fighter of the year, ain't gonna say he's my favourite guy (but ain't we all got a past) but his achievements in the ring have been special.
