Round 1

Toney sidles in on Gavern and lands a left hook behind the right eye socket. Gavern sticks his jab, mirroring Toney, and is countered with a quick short overhand right. Hard right to the flank by Gavern as they step apart. 1-2 by Toney, counter uppercut by Gavern. Toney is wrestling Gavern off and landing the right hand. Gavern is getting in some body shots in the shoving clinches. Gavern raises his arm to hoot at the crowd after the bell.

Yeah the crowd shot that high-pitched whoop right back at him.

 

Round 2

Lead right by Toney. Gavern is getting blasted on the left side of the face as Toney feigns a jab or curls a hook to purchase entry and then drops the right up top. Gavern is doing lots of grabbing and scrabbling on the inside, rubbing his forearms on Toney's front. HUGE clubbing right by Toney. Gavern falls into Toney, looking to hold and eating another big clubbing right. Toney is now harried into a corner where Gavern flurries ineffectively on his guard. Counter left hook to the body by Toney. Hook by Gavern. "WHOOO!" screeches Gavern. Double hook by Gavern backing Toney up. Double screech by Gavern.
