I have never really thought much about MMA ATG lists so I don't know where I'd rate who in what, but your list looks pretty damn good. I see a few names I'd switch around here and there but nothing major, the tiers seem about right, and other than the old schools guys I can't see anyone notable missing. Good job :good
few notable ones i would change, frank shamrock a few tiers higher, also tito ortiz a tier higher but good job
I like the idea but think there are too many tiers. I prefer something like this. Not a comprehensive list just an example of how I'd rather see the tiers formatted. Most people fit into the c-class or lower tiers. To be considered in the b-class and above means those competitors have played a role in shaping the direction and growth of the sport, and is worthy of the so called "HoF" if there was a general MMA HoF. ATG's - The very best of there era, absolute standouts among champions ex. Fedor Emelianenko, George St. Pierre, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, Matt Hughes A-Class -Title holders for the top Organizations UFC, Pride ex. BJ Penn, Rich Franklin, Wanderlei Silva, Kazushi Sakuraba, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Brock Lesnar, Cain Valasquez, Lyoto Machida, Quinton Jackson, Mauricio Rua, Jens Pulver, Frankie Edgar, Ben Henderson, Demetrius Johnson, Josh Barnett, Randy Couture, etc. B-Class -Ranked Non-title holders, or title holders in smaller organizatons, and early UFC Pioneers ex. Royce Gracie, Renzo Gracie, Rickson Gracie, Nick Diaz,Travis Fulton, Dan Severn, Mirko Crocop, Frank Shamrock, Norifumi Yamamoto, Hayato Sakurai, Alexander Franca Noguiera, Rumina Sato, Miguel Torres, Mamoru Yamaguchi, Ryoto Matsune, etc. C-Class -Your Average MMA Competitors, Never achieved top 10 world ranking, Gatekeepers, Low Ranked Local Pros you could probably put your name right here, me too Amateur - Self Explanatory
